Home place, Soul place

There is a place each of us needs to come home to, far from the hectic pace and noise of the world; a place where we can walk in solitude, discover our dreams, touch the Earth, and listen in stillness to the voice of God.

Spes in Deo is such a place, a home place, a soul place for spiritual renewal, balance, reflection, dreams, contemplation, freedom, wildness, refuge. We are open to people of all faiths.

Located on eight acres in the beautiful Uncompahgre Valley at the foot of the San Juan Mountains, we are minutes away from the lake and campgrounds of Dutch Charlie, wildlife sanctuaries, the Black Canyon National Park, and the historical town of Ouray with its wonderful hot springs pools.

We are 285 miles southwest of Denver; a six-hour drive by car, one hour by air.
